Cyberpunk 2077 – ONE HUGE GAME!
The world’s most anticipated video game, Cyberpunk 2077, is finally here! The open world action adventure story set in Night City! It’s a city that is obsessed with power, glamout and body modification. Who doesn’t want swords in their arms? You play as the protagonist V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one of a kind implant that is the key to immortality!
Everything is customisable, from the cyberware, skillset and playstyle. Even your characters, y’know, important bits. Ahem.
Every choice you make in this game will shape the story and the world that is around you. You have three different Life Path choices to make at the start of the game. You can choose to be a Corpo, Nomad or Street Kid. There will get be a different game depending on which one you choose. The prologue will be different, however, the main story will more or less be the same. However, how you are able to navigate night city, using your skills and various pieces of dialogue will be adjusted according to how you choose. For example a Street Kid may be better at navigating the gangs and talking his/her way out of trouble with the police. Whilst a Corpo will have easier and earlier access to tech guns and be able to negotiate better.

Nomad Life Path
The Nomad Life Path is one that revolves around a story of an outsider. Starting their journey in the vast desert-like district outside of Night City called “The Badlands”, Nomads are scrappy and resourceful people who pride themselves in their strong family dynamics, forming clans that function similarly to small communities. Inside of Night City, Nomads have bad reputations, especially with the corporate elite and police, and are treated very much like outcasts. Since they reside in the outskirts, Nomads are savvy in the business of acquiring and transporting stolen corporate goods and turning them for a profit. This knowledge can help them.
- Backstory: V is an outsider from The Badlands looking for a new life in Night City.
- Starting Destination: The Badlands
- Starting Mission: The Nomad
Street Kid Life Path
The Street Kid Life Path is one of someone who’s no stranger to the streets of Night City. Their journey begins in Heywood, a large district that borders the corporate landscape of the City Center and is home to the majority of the people of Night City. Having lived a life in the streets fighting off “badges” and navigating around gangs, Street Kids have a wealth of knowledge about the city, knowing every street and just about everyone who lives there. Their street smarts and and their connections with the people who live there can help them.
- Backstory: V is from the streets of Night City where gangs and violence are rampant and they are looking for a come-up.
- Starting Destination: Heywood
- Starting Mission: The Street Kid
Corpo Life Path
The Corpo Life Path, as you might assume from the name, is all about holding one’s own while navigating around people consumed with money, power, and respect. Corpos begin their adventure in the heart of the Night City business district, also known as the City Center, surrounded with sleek and towering skyscrapers with boardrooms of executives shaking hands on underhanded deals. Since Corpos are acquainted with the one percent’s lifestyle, they have a knack for dealing with people from the upper echelon and this knowledge can help them.

Cyberpunk 2077 Upgrades
Not only are your skills upgradeable via your skill tree, this is in both of physical skill (jumping, fighting, running for example), but your mental skill (negotiation, talking your way out of trouble for example) but you can also upgrade your ‘cool’. Cool is what will affect your stealth and ability to make critical hits on opponents.
You can also upgrade your weapons, hacking skills and body implants. Remember those inbuilt swords we told you about earlier? Their called Mantis blades and they look amazing:
You can also upgrade your legs which will allow you to jump higher and further! So as you can see there’s lots of customisation available in this game for players!
Cyberpunk 2077 – What you need to do
In Cyberpunk 2077, you are tasked with taking down everyone, from corporate security to the police, gangs and other outlaws to gain street cred and then get better jobs. Better jobs equals better play equals better gear! Buy weapons, body upgrades or buy cars, motorcycles and clothing!
Along the story you will journey through the whole of the city and encounter every walk of life. From the gang-ridden warzones to it’s downtown to the corporate heavens. Nothing is off limits. Deal with sleazy characters, desperate celebs and artificial intelligence.
Everyone is after the same thing, a prototype chip that will make you live forever. Face corporate leaders, underground hustlers and the most feared people in Night City. Anyone will do everything in their power to possess the prototype chip.
Choose how you handle the power and who you wish to become and remember, the choices in your journey will change the story based on your actions!
