We recently got the chance to take the Turtle Beach Recon 500’s for a spin and they have impressed! They are a solid set of gaming headphones that provide great audio. Dual Drivers
This is thanks to the 60mm Eclipse Dual Drivers, they’re designed to separate chambers that control low and high frequencies. Vastly improved audio detail over a conventional driver. Mainly due to the larger 60mm size which produces a massive soundstage for all the gaming soundscapes.

The microphone is one of the best we have used, it has been developed specifically for professional gaming. The microphone is TruSpeak uni-directional, noise cancelling. Helping to deliver clear, reliable chat and it can be removed when not in use.
