Twitter’s News TV?

Twitter is working to get more money in to help the struggling service by creating a 24hr ad supported rolling news channel in the latter stages of the year from media firm Bloomberg.

The live video stream will include original programming as well as feeds from Bloomberg themselves, Justin Smith, Bloombergs chief exec adding that the stream is going to be much broader in focus that its existing output. Emphasising the importance of many who use Twitter as they watch live events telling the Wall Street Journal:

“Viewers have already embraced a multi-stream experience with live events and marrying those experiences seemed like a very powerful thing to offer to consumers”

Instagram Crashed!

Insta was not functioning & if you went to their website online via a web page it displayed a ‘5xx Server’ issue.

There was no clear reason for what caused the crash, and it appeared to be possible to access the site via the smartphone app, yet instagram tweeted that they were aware of the problem for some users and were working on it and managed to get it back up by 7:15pm GMT!

“I got this piece called the iRig, I saw you could plug it into your iPhone, they got amps on here, see what cool guitar sounds I could get.”

The model Steve Lacy uses has a 3.5mm jack on it so he uses an old cracked, beat up iPhone for recording guitars and bass through the iRig and uses his iPhone 7 to listen and compose his tracks with.

REVOKE THAT WHATSAPP MSG! (maybe.)

WhatsApp are answering all the guys who send that “risky text” and regret it a few seconds later – they are reportedly working on a feature that gives you 5 mins to unsend that message.

A Twitter account by the name of WABetaInfo tweeted out the rumour informing the world of this feature with a “revoke” button” claiming that it may be available at the next iOS update.

It is unknown if this is the same as the feature that WhatsApp began testing last year that allowed you to unsend it if it hadn’t been read.
