/in Lifestyle, Uncategorised/by marcusbronzy
X GON GIVE IT TO YAH
Toyota has been keeping up its promise of always offering something fresh and new. In 2023, the carmaker unveiled a new bright Brass Gold colour option for the Toyota Aygo X Air Edition, a special version of the all-new compact urban crossover. This metallic paintwork is in addition to the four “spice” themed shades in which the car was launched in November 2022, which includes Juniper Blue, Chilli Red, Ginger Beige and Cardamom Green. The Brass Gold colour is used as a contrast highlight on two of the spokes on the 18-inch matt black alloy wheels.
The Brass Gold colour is not limited to the exterior of the car. It is carried through to the cabin with matching upper door trims, air vent surrounds and the centre console frame. It is also picked up in the contrast accents on the black fabric seat upholstery. The Aygo X Air Edition comes with a full-length, power-retracting canvas roof as standard. The equipment specification matches the regular Aygo X Edge, which includes a multimedia system with an eight-inch touchscreen and smartphone integration (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), automatic wipers, reversing camera, front fog lights, and front and rear parking sensors.
The Toyota Aygo X Air Edition also comes with Toyota Safety Sense active safety and driver assistance features. This includes the Pre-Collision System, Emergency Steering Assist, Automatic High Beam, intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Trace Assist, and Road Sign Assist. The car also features a Driver Alert system that sounds a warning if it detects driver fatigue or a lapse in attention.
The Aygo X Air Edition is exclusively available to purchase online via the Toyota UK website. The simple and secure process allows customers to specify their vehicle and make appropriate arrangements for part exchange of their current car and organise finance. The on-the-road prices are £19,365 for the Air Edition with manual transmission, and £20,545 for the automatic.
Tech
The Toyota Aygo X Air Edition is available in two transmission options: a manual transmission and an automatic transmission. The manual transmission option features a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder, petrol engine that produces 72 horsepower and 93 Nm of torque. The automatic transmission option features the same engine with the same horsepower and torque output, but with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
The car’s compact size and light weight make it a nimble and agile city car, with a turning radius of just 4.8 meters. The Aygo X Air Edition has a top speed of 157 km/h and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 13.8 seconds (for the manual transmission) or 14.7 seconds (for the automatic transmission).
The Aygo X Air Edition features a MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear suspension, which provides a comfortable ride on both smooth and bumpy roads. The car also features an electric power steering system, which provides a responsive and precise driving experience.
In terms of fuel economy, the Aygo X Air Edition is impressively efficient. The manual transmission version has a combined fuel consumption figure of 4.3 L/100km, while the automatic transmission version has a combined fuel consumption figure of 4.5 L/100km. This makes it an affordable car to run, with low running costs and a low environmental impact.
Sound
The system is also equipped with advanced technology to enhance sound quality and make it easier to control. The multimedia system, which comes with an eight-inch touchscreen display, allows you to easily control your music and adjust the settings to suit your preferences.
Additionally, the Aygo X Air Edition comes with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which allows you to seamlessly connect your smartphone and access your music library, podcasts, and more. This feature also allows you to use voice commands to control your music, making it easy to keep your eyes on the road while still enjoying your favorite tunes.
Furthermore, the Aygo X Air Edition comes with DAB digital radio as standard, which provides crystal-clear sound quality and a wider selection of radio stations to choose from. With DAB, you can enjoy your favorite radio programs without the annoying static and interference that can come with traditional FM radio.
Summary
Overall, the Toyota Aygo X Air Edition is a stylish and well-equipped compact urban crossover. With the addition of the new Brass Gold colour option, it offers customers even more choice and individuality. The exclusive online purchase process makes buying the car easy and convenient for customers. With its advanced safety features, high-tech multimedia system and practical features such as a retractable canvas roof, the Aygo X Air Edition is a great option for those seeking a fun and versatile car for city driving.
The Best Gadgets For Your Car That You Need In Your Life
/in Lifestyle, Uncategorised/by marcusbronzyModern cars come with some fancy stuff but there always seems to be that little bit extra that we can add. The question is, what extras do you think that your car needs? Here are some ideas that we think you should add to your car.
Lifesaver tool
If you were in a car accident and your car stopped working, but you were trapped inside, what would you do? If you had a Lifesaver tool, you could easily get out. These tools are made with everything you could possibly need to escape a vehicle including a cutter that is designed to cut through seatbelts and a military grade punch point to smash the glass.
Camera system
If you spend any time on the road, you will know that people drive like idiots. In order to protect yourself from legal repercussions, you should think about getting a camera fitted to your car. Hopefully, you will never need to employ any professional legal services, but if you do, it helps to have a recording of what happened. You can even get them in the form of a mirror dash so they blend seamlessly with the rest of the car.
Tyre monitor
This is another one for the safety category, especially if you have an older car. Nower cars come with build-in tyre monitors, so if there is an issue with the pressure, you will know about it before it gets too flat. This device connects your tyre with your mobile phone and shows you in real time what is happening with the car.
Mini vacuum
If you have kids, you will know how annoying it is when they drop crumbs all over the back of the car. Keeping a mini vacuum handy to hoover up those random bits of food that don’t make their mouths can help keep your car a lot cleaner and fresher.
Battery pack
For some reason, our car batteries have a habit of dying on us at the strangest times. If you have an older car, investing in a battery pack can be a lifesaver. Not only can you jump start your car without the need of another vehicle, some of them come with a pump to blow up your tyres if you develop a flat.
Hand gel dispenser
If there is one thing that we have needed buckets of during the last 18 months, it is hand gel. This antibacterial wonder has been a saviour, and now you can get a specially shaped dispenser for your car. This is a simple design for a simple product, but it has become so essential we can’t see how we can live without it now.
Mobile coffee maker
Yes, we know it is easy enough to swing by Starbucks but if you love your coffee and have to have a certain type, you could invest in a mobile coffee maker. These can plug into the car socket and provide you with a fresh brew all day long.
Skyroof tent
If you want to take your staycation game up a level, you need to invest in a skyroof tent. This tent folds into a cargo box that fits the top of your car. Depending on the type that you pick, you can easily fit two adults and two children inside to sleep. This is a great way to ensure that your tent never blows away when you are camping.
Breathalyzer
We have all been there. You go out for a meal, end up having a couple of drinks and are left wondering if it is still ok for you to drive. You might feel fine, but what would the law say? Having a breathalyzer takes the guesswork out of this for you. Of course, it is better if you don’t drink at all but this is handy when you have had one or two and still want to drink legally.
Heads-Up display
A lot of luxury vehicles have heads-up displays as standard now. However, if you don’t have the latest luxury car, you can still have a display. Using a heads-up display can help your eyes from wandering around the dashboard to check your speed and if the fuel light is about to come on.
Cargo box
We are heading back to the 1990s and getting some retro vibes with the latest roof cargo box trend. Everyone is enjoying their staycation time and are taking advantage of a cargo box to help to carry all of the luggage a bit easier.
Disinformation – 99 Youtubers Vs Anti Vaxxers
/in Uncategorised/by billywrightA crazy story has come out recently after a marketing agency secretly offered to pay social media stars to spread disinformation about Covid-19 Vaccines. However, it went south after the influencers went public with the attempt to recruit them.
A German and journalist YouTuber called Mirko Drotschmann, said that it started with an email. He usually ignores offers from brands asking him to use his audience to advertise their products to his 1.5 million audience. The sponsorship he received however was a bit different.
Spreading Disinformation
The influencer marketing agency called Fazze offered to pay Mirko to promote what they claimed was leaked information about the Pfizer vaccine. That it had a death rate almost 3 times that of AstraZeneca. The information that was provided to him was not true. He was being asked to spread disinformation to undermine public confidence in vaccines.
“I was shocked,” Mirko told the BBC, “then I was curious, what’s behind all that?”
It was not just in Germany, in France, science YouTuber Léo Grasset had received a similar offering. The agency offered him 2000 euros to take part in the scheme. Fazze claimed that they were acting for a client who had asked to remain anonymous. Léo told the BBC that this alone was a red flag.
Both the YouTubers were appalled. However they pretended to be interested in order fo find out more. They were then given detailed instructions about what they should say in the videos.
Brief
The brief instructed them to act like you have passion and interest in the topic. Not to mention that it was a sponsor and to pretend as if they were giving out advice, out of concern for their viewers.
In stilted English, the brief instructed them to “Act like you have the passion and interest in this topic. Social media platforms have rules in place which mean that influencers have to state when their content is sponsored. In France and Germany it is also illegal not to state something is sponsored when it in fact is.
Fazze’s brief told the influencers to share a story in the French newspaper Le Monde. Regarding a data leak in the European Medicines Agency. The story was genuine, however, it didn’t;t include anything about vaccine deaths. Yet in the context it would give the false impression that the statistic had in fact come from the leak.
Out of Context
While the data the influencers were asked to share was information that came from many different sources and taken out of context.
It presented the number of people who had died in several countries some time after receiving the different COVID vaccines. Though just because someone dies after having a vaccine it doesn’t mean they died as a result of the vaccine.
In the countries that the statistics were from, a greater number of people had received the Pfizer vaccine at the time. So the number of those dying after having a Pfizer jab was to be expected.
“If you don’t have any scientific training, you could just say, ‘oh, there are these numbers, they are really different. So there must be a link.’ But you can make any spurious correlation as you want really,” Léo told the BBC.
Both the influencers were given links to share with their audience. The articles all used the same dubious sets of data which implied that the Pfizer vaccine was dangerous to humans.
Exposure
Both Léo and Mirko exposed the campaign from Fazze on Twitter. All of the articles that they were asked to share, disappeared from the web. The only one that remained was the article in Le Monde. The exposure lead to 4 other influencers in Germany and France going public about Fazze’s attempts to spread disinformation.
Daniel Läufer, a German Journalist has however, identified two influencers who may have taken up Fazze on the offer.
Indian YouTuber Ashkar Techy who creates jokey videos about cars and dating and Brazilian prankster Everson Zoio.
Daniel discovered that each of them had posted seemingly uncharacteristic videos in which they pushed the same message that was asked of Léo and Mirko. Both of them had also participated in previous Fazze promotions.
Daniel contacted them and both YouTubers removed their videos, but didn’t answer any of his questions.
Digging deeper.
The BBC tried to email those who approached Mirko and Léo. The emails bounced back from a company called AdNow. Fazze is a part of AdNow. AdNow is a digital marketing company that is registered in the UK and Russia.
The BBC tried to contact AdNow by phone, email and a letter to their Moscow headquarters, but to no avail.
The BBC did however, manage to contact Ewan Tolladay. He is one of two directors of the British arm of AdNow. Mr Tolladay said he had very little to do with Fazze. He said that Fazze was a joint venture between him and a Russian man called Stanislav Fesenko – and another person whose identity he didn’t know.
Ewan told the BBC that he hadn’t been a part of the disinformation campaign. He didn’t even know that Fazze had taken on the contract and couldn’t tell the BBC who the mystery client was. Ewan told the BBC that they were going to do the “responsible thing and shutting down AdNow here in the UK”. He also said that Fazze was also being shut down.
The BBC tried to get Mr Fesenko to talk to us but had no success. Since the story broke the French and German authorities were launching investigations into Fazze’s approach to influencers. The client remains unclear.
Russia
There were speculation that there was some Russian connection to the scandal. The interests of the Russian state in promoting it’s own vaccine. Sputnik V. Omid Nouripour, the foreign policy spokesman for the German Green party, suggested that they should be looking to Moscow for the motivation behind the Fazze campaign.
He said: “Bad-mouthing vaccines in the West undermines trust in our democracies and is supposed to increase trust in Russia’s vaccines, and there is only one side that benefits and that is the Kremlin.”
But in a statement the Russian embassy in London said: “We treat Covid-19 as a global threat and, thus, are not interested in undermining global efforts in the fight against it, with vaccinating people with the Pfizer vaccine as one of the ways to cope with the virus.”
Fazze’s campaign failed but Léo Grasset believes it won’t be the last time someone attempts to use influencers to spread disinformation.
“If you want to manipulate public opinion, especially for young people, you don’t go to TV”
“Just spend the same money on TikTok creators, YouTube creators. The whole ecosystem is perfectly built for maximum efficiency of disinformation right now.” said French YouTuber Léo Grasset.

Buying A Car In 2021: A Primer
/in Lifestyle, Uncategorised/by marcusbronzyEverything has been a bit weird recently because of the pandemic, and that includes buying a car! After all, we haven’t been able to head to the dealership and get a test drive for a while. The good news is that things are (cautiously) beginning to get back to normal, something that means it’s a great time for folks that are considering investing in a new vehicle. However, before you make this momentous decision, be sure to carefully consider the factors below.
Do remember that the pandemic can have both positive and negative influences
Yes, the pandemic has made viewing, testing driving, and finding the perfect car difficult. Indeed, some dealerships have had to close down completely over lockdown. However, many have some robust systems in place that will allow you to visit and take a peek at the vehicles they have on offer. Some are even offering to deliver your car directly to your home after it has been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected that is!
Despite the challenges for car lovers during the pandemic, there are some upsides to consider as well. One of the most important of these is that the dip in car sales means getting a better deal for either a used or new vehicle is much more likely. Indeed, if you have the knack for negotiation you can save yourself a considerable amount of money right now.
Don’t forget to check the tech specs
In 2021 tech is everywhere, and our vehicles are no exception to this rule. Of course, this means that it’s vital to research and thoroughly check the tech of any car we are thinking about buying. In particular, making sure diagnostics have been run on any electrical and tech systems is crucial. After all, you don’t want to end up with a car that won’t switch on, connect to your smartphone, or that has problems running your GPS.
Diagnostics are also important when it comes to the safety features in your vehicles such as ABS, collision warning, and detection, and automatic crash alert system all have a technological element, and this needs to be correctly functioning if you are to benefit from them.
Do make smart financial decisions
While it may be possible to get a good deal on the car you want because of the pandemic, it’s still likely to be a pretty significant investment. What this means is it’s crucial that you are up to date on the financial options 2021 has to provide.
For example, it may make more sense to choose a new car on PCP than to buy it outright. However, if you are opting for a used vehicle, choosing to part exchange can help you significantly reduce the costs involved, Something that will allow you to get the car you want without breaking the bank.
Don’t forget a warranty
Whether you choose to buy new or used, finance, PCP, or even outright, opting for a warranty is one of the best things you can do in 2021. This is because, if an accident or fault does occur the parts, labor and repairs will be covered, and you won’t need to worry about finding the money to pay for them on top of the cost of the car.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 10 Tips!
/in Uncategorised/by billywrightWe all loved skateboarding as a kid right?
If you clicked on this video I’m sure that as a kid, you all had a skateboard and a ton of knocks and bruises from trying to “Do a kick flip” that came with it.
You also probably owned the best selling Skateboarding game of all time. Tony Hawks Pro Skater.
Well, it’s official now that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, the modernised remake and remaster of the classic skating games has become the fastest game to reach 1 million units sold through in franchise history!
You all think it’s pretty good and we’re inclined to agree, so for those who haven’t dived in yet, here’s the Top 10 things you need to know about Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1&2 before playing…..
Remake & Remaster
The new game, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is not just a modernised game stealing off the nostalgic coat tails of yesteryear, pretending to be something it’s not.
It is a Remaster and Remake. Literally. The game is exactly how you remember it. All the levels are exactly the same, just with a lick of paint.
So yes, Warehouse, School 2, Hanger, Downhill Jam are all there to bring back memories of childhood…..
It’s the same game. I cannot stress this enough. It’s the same game and it’s still sooooo good!
Music
The music is also exactly the same as you remember it.
ALL the music that was in the original games is present, so you’ll hear classic tracks from bands such as Papa Roach, Rage Against the Machine, Anthrax, Dead Kennedys, Suicidal Tendencies and many more!
Plus it has a slight modern twist to it with music from Skepta and Machine Gun Kelly.
I would play some but y’know copyright strikes….
Gameplay
The gameplay is very simple and pick up and play as if it were yesterday. Stages are broken up into 2 min rounds where you have to complete different tasks per level such as collect hall passes or collect NYC subway cards, hit a high combo, hit a high score or the famous collect SKATE and Find the secret tape.
Nothing new to remember, just simply pick up and play as if it were yesterday.
Muscle Memory
For all the older players out there, muscle memory is a BIG one here and nothing much has changed, if at all!
I will say that It did take a while for me to get going again, weren’t used to keep changing the camera.
I did keep falling off the board but once I got the hang of it, I was performing 900’s in no time!
I’ve spoken to a few friends who have played this too and they, like me, remember the buttons for the 900……
It’s crazy how it all just came flooding back.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is addictive
I don’t know about you but I find it so addictive!
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is a breath of fresh air compared to modern games as I found myself not chasing a trophy or wanting to get to the next level as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
All I wanted to do was to get that secret tape or to get that last letter, or what was usually the case, get that extra high score!
Just one more go became a very repetitive saying whilst playing Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 & 2…..it’s just how games used to be, fun.
Online Multiplayer
There’s currently 2 different playlists on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2,
The first is Jams which is a casual competitive experience, where the top 4 skaters win.
Second is Competitive mode, this is more serious & there is only 1 winner here!
In both modes you are pitted up against 6 other skaters and you compete in a variety of game modes.
You can play in score challenge which is challenge to the a predetermined score, combo challenge where the skater with the highest combo wins, trick attack is highest score at the end of a session wins, graffiti mode, where players can tag objects in a park by completing combos. Most tags is the winner.
Tag is basically IT, person who is IT the least wins and HORSE.
Classic HORSE where players challenge one another for the highest combo score. Earn a letter if you lose a round, first person to collect HORSE loses.
However this awesome mode is only available for local multiplayer. Boooooo!
Customisation
There is a TON of customisation in this game, from changing what your character wears to his board, you can even change how worn the bottom of the board is! However you play, you can make it your own and that I find is especially cool, no other skater will be just like yours as there is sooo much to change and customise.
At the end of each 2 min round you get some money which you can then use to purchase clothes or boards, it really adds up and can make your skater your own.
Modernised
There has been some subtle changes to modernise the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2.
Firstly your character has some voice quirks if you land a great combo for example they’ll go “WoooHoo!”
There’s some cool animations that your character has when they land a trick or when they’re balancing on a rail.
There’s a slight camera shake/controller shake when you come down out of the air which I though was rather cool.
Create A Park
Create a Park returns to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2
You can create crazy skate parks and upload them for others to play.
Create A Park was legendary in the original game and this is amazing in the new game.
What will you come up with? It’ll be interesting to see what people can come up with!
Jack Black Is in the game
To tie up I thought I ‘d reveal something pretty cool about the game that Officer Dick the classic character is back and he’s played by none other than Jack Black and Jack Black also did this for FREE!
Jack Black is no stranger to gaming, he even has his own channel, so it’s no surprise he did this and it’s a cool little quirk to have in the game too!
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 Easter Eggs
There are a range of easter eggs that are in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, for example there are COVID 19 References
Head to the Facial Hair section of the Create a Skater and scroll to the bottom and there’s an option to put on a face mask.
There is also references to staying safe and thanking workers for working at home during these tough times in School 2 & in New York there is video advertisements promoting wearing masks and social distancing. There is even a banner being flown on Venice beach promoting mask wearing!
Stay Safe And Skate!
One other easter egg that we especially liked was the VHS tapes on Find the secret tape all say THPS with the release date of the first game 31st August 199 and the release date of the last game 29th September 2015

Planning A Roadtrip? Check These Things Before You Go
/in Entertainment, Uncategorised/by marcusbronzyTaking a trip can be really exciting, but if you are out and about, midway into a journey and your car breaks down, things can take a turn for the worst, the fun can be lost, and you can spend a lot of time and money sorting things out. In order to minimise the chances of this happening it is essential to check your car is road trip ready before you even set out.
Check the basics
Before you plan to take a more extended trip, you should always check your air, oil and water. These three tasks can quickly be learned, and you should ensure that for the oil and water checks you have parked on a flat hard standing rather than on a slope as this could give a false reading. Your handbook should tell you what tyre pressures you should be running, and most garages have access to airlines for about twenty pence.
Get your car serviced
Make sure you have been keeping up with servicing on your car, and if you are planning an unusually long journey consider booking a service anyway. This gives you peace of mind that your vehicle has been checked by a professional and if you are unsure about things like oil and water they can check this for you. Failure to serve a car regularly can mean a minor issue is not spotted and over time it deteriorates into a costly job that could have been avoided.
Tyres: Fittings, repair and maintenance
As well as checking the air in your tyres you should also be keeping an eye on the overall quality. Treads have a legal minimum limit, after which the tyre becomes dangerous and could fail to react when braking, or steering sharply. It also means that the rubber has worn away and this can leave the tyre more at risk of punctures or worse, a blowout, which can leave the car uncontrollable and cause an accident. Tyres should be regularly checked for nails, stones and other debris in the treads, and it is vital you have a spare tyre on board, the spare wheel is often only suitable to get you back to proper help, but some vehicles carry a full road legal spare. Even if you’re road-tripping to Scotland and need an emergency repair or replacement, you can get good quality servicing and repairs at places such as C.H. Render.
How to save money
The best way to save money when it comes to cars and road trips is to have breakdown cover should the worst happen. It can be really expensive to get your vehicle towed or repaired at the side of the road if you are not a member of a breakdown service. Check the level of cover and compare it with the journey you are going to make.
The bottom line is that being prepared for road trips is a case of being proactive, not reactive. If you carry out a range of checks and ensure that your vehicle is maintained all year round, you are less likely to have problems when heading out for a longer trip. Being reactive is not only disruptive it can also be hard on the wallet so keeping on top of basic maintenance makes a lot of sense.
Huawei Faked It?!
/in Uncategorised/by billywrightAllegedly Huawei faked an advert for their latest smartphone the Nova 3. Instead it is said that a full sized DSLR was used to take photos. A shot in the company’s latest commercial for the Nova 3 shows a couple arguing and then stopping momentarily to take a ‘selfie’.
The aim was to show how Huawei’s AI and camera technology can make it so that the woman doesn’t need to put her make up on. Yet it can be said that it Huawei faked it as shown by a behind the scene’s photo which was discovered on instagram by reddit user AbdullahSab3.
Caught Out?
The photo, which has since been deleted was posted on instagram by Sarah Elshamy (whom is the actress in the scene) highlights that no phone is present in the scene. Yet allegedly Huawei faked it. The gentleman is putting his hand up to the lens of the DLSR as if he is holding a phone.
While it can be stated that the ad never explicitly stated that the picture was shot on the Nova 3. However, it is implied and you can be forgiven if you didn’t think otherwise.
Yet, Android Police have pointed out that Huawei have history doing this. They were once caught photoshopping out bezels on renderings of the P8. Furthermore Huawei posted a shot on its Google+ page taken from a P9. While the EXIF data revealed that the shot was taken on a Canon EOS 5D MarkIII.(Verge)
Allegedly faking photos is one thing, but people actually use Google+? Who ever used Google+?
