DC FanDome 2021 has been and gone, it was amazing! But for all those that have missed it, check out our roundup of all the cool things that was announced during one incredible live stream!
Batman – DC FanDome 2021
The Batman, dropped an incredible trailer for the long awaited Matt Reeves directed film starring Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz. The Batman will premiere on March 4th 2022. It does look incredibly dark and a real deep look into a more adult version of The Batman. We got a look at how the film goes, it’s Batman vs The Riddler and Penguin. We even got a good look as Colin Farrell as The Penguin! Hint: he looked incredible!
Aquaman – DC FanDome 2021
A brand new Aquaman was revealed, a sequel from the director of the first film, James Wan. While Jason Momoa returns as the world’s hunkiest fishman. Aquaman returns alongside actors from the first film, Abdul-Mateen II (Black Manta) and Patrick Wilson (Orm). Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom is due for release in December 2022.
Black Adam – DC FanDome 2021
During DC FanDome 2021 we were given a really short tease in Black Adam, Dwayne Johnson’s first entry into the super hero universe. Dwayne Johnson stated that he wished to play Black Adam over a decade ago and he’s now getting to play this character. Judging from the clip it is clear that he is born to play the character and it is his passion project. We’re excited for it and we cannot wait for the film when it comes to theatres on July 29th 2022.
The Flash – DC FanDome 2021
The Flash comes to the big screen and Ezra Miller takes to the big screen, lightning-fast Barry Allen. IT director Andy Muschietti is directing, which means that it could be very good indeed! While there is the return of Michael Keaton as Batman.
Gotham Knights – DC FanDome 2021
Gotham Knights the Batman game from Warner Bros, due for release in 2022 was shown off with a brand new trailer. It brought chills to the Hall of Heroes featuring the games’s antagonist, the Court of Owls.
Suicide Squad – DC FanDome 2021
Another game was shown at DC FanDome 2021, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. The game is developed by Rocksteady Studios, which made the incredible Batman games which won loads of awards. It gives us a glimpse of the game’s story, characters and tone.
Peacemaker – DC FanDome 2021
Staying with the Suicide Squad theme, John Cena enters the DC Universe as Peacemaker. The trailer begins with commentary from Peacemaker. While he narrowly escapes death following the events of the film. Agents then approach him and task him with putting him to work. Peacemaker and then his pet eagle, fantastically goofy costume, his combat skills take to completing these tasks. The Suicide Squad spinoff series Peacemaker debuts on HBO Max in America on January 13th 2022.
