In the most recent episode, the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones, it was the third most discussed episode on Twitter so far! Gaining 3,800,847 tweets. However, it took the top spot as becoming the joint most saddest episode thus far. As 60% of tweets were sad, equaling last weeks episode.
Yet, a lot of fans weren’t happy with the outcome of the episode. Which saw Daenerys Targaryen snap after being pushed to the limit. There were 839,627 tweets which discussed the Mother of Dragons. Which saw 66% of sad tweets.

Game of Thrones is a massively popular tv show and it get’s Twitter talking!
According to musicMagpie most recent episode, “The Long Night” the third episode of the final season of Game of Thrones was the most talked about episode of all time!
The previous record of tweets, which was held by the season 8 premier was set at 3,857,823. However, during the epic Battle of Winterfell, the fans of the show sent a mind blowing 4,825,691 tweets!
There was some complaints about the episode though and fans let the world know about it! A total of 69,229 tweets were shared that the show was too dark. Not the content was too dark. Literally the show was too dark, viewers were struggling to make out what was happening on screen!
