How Accurate is John Wick? Scene By Scene Breakdown
So, have you ever wondered how accurate John Wick actually is? Well Ben Slater over at Military Direct decided to find out just how accurate John Wick is. Here’s a question, have you ever held your breath when a character is under water? Also have you tried to count how many shots are fired during a shoot out? While it’s fun to figure out how many films are realistic, even when there’s some movie magic.
So, during Lockdown Ben Slater, Marketing Director of Military Direct, along with his team, combed through the biggest streaming services to find binge worthy films. While, the stand out films from this was the John Wick series.
Keanu Reeves plays an assassin willing to rip the world apart to retrieve his car and avenge his dog. With stunning action sequences, he takes on wave after wave of enemies with brutal fighting skills and lethal accuracy.
However, the team at Military Direct wanted to figure out just how accurate Mr John Wick really is.
They analysed scenes from across the franchise and employed a formula. While, they calculated his accuracy per gun fight and then for each film arrive at a total accuracy across all three films.

Most Lethal Weapon:
Technically, John’s most accurate weapon is a Pencil – 6 Kills / 100% Accuracy.
Most Lethal Gun:
John’s most lethal gun across the series (total bullets fired / accuracy) would likely be the Glock 26, which is used in multiple scenes across all three films.
By scene it would be the Benelli M4 Super 90 Shotgun used in the catacombs in John Wick: Chapter 2 with 100% Accuracy.
