Override 2: Super Mech League is out now and the 3D competitive arena brawler returns with 20 mechs and a brand new fast paced combat system, including an all new career mode!
Override 2: Super Mech League – Career Mode
The new career mode is called Leagues. So, in Leagues your agent Zoe will guide you through the ins and outs of the Super Mech League and set you up with matches.
Each match type in Leagues have their own associated rank. This rank will increase as you continue through the competition against players online. Leagues will feature returning match types from the first Override, such as 1v1, 2v2 and free for all. Furthermore brand new match types come in called Control, king of the hill style battles and Xenoswarm. So, this is a battle for survival against Kaiju-infused bots!
Sponsorships and Clubs
As you continue through the league in Override 2: Super Mech League, you will have the option to accepted limited – time sponsorships. Complete in game challenges from sponsorships to earn bonus coins. Raking in that extra cash opens up a range of customisable options in the garage. Including additional mechs to fight with in Leagues, skins for each part of your mech and cosmetic attachments.
Furthermore, once you have gained enough experience you’ll unlock the option to join a club. One of Magma, Pacifica and Starlight. Winning marches and completing challenges raises your clubs collective influence. More influence the better the more rewards available!
Mech Pilots – Override 2: Super Mech League
The first step in becoming a top tier pilot is finding the right mech suit to match your fighting style. While a good mechanic that you can use is the quick recovery system. Tapping on the jump button whilst knocked down will spring the mech’s back in to action!
Be aware though once death occurs mechs will explode after a short period!
While in matches with more than two players you can surprise your opponents by grabbing the mech scraps. By timing it correctly you can throw them like an item to catch your enemies unawares!
