Game Of Thrones leads Tv shows Brits want back!

Game of Thrones seems to be the one show that everyone wants to come back on our screens! Ever since the cast of Friends announced they were no longer on a break. The media has been abuzz with TV Reunion news. Every popular TV show wants a slice of the reunion pie. With the cast of Desperate Housewives, to Parks and Recreation Quarantine special, everyone is getting in on the act!

OnBuy have investigated which popular boxsets are the most in demand! With OnBuy revealing that Brits are most interested in Game of Thrones returning to the small screen! 34,990 people a month Google if the show is making a comeback or if there is a new series on the way!

In fact, Game of Thrones, just eclipses the Tv Reunion phenomenon that is the Friends special.

Friends and others

Friends has been enjoying a renaissance ever since the announcement of a Friends special. 33,150 people on average a month Google to find out more about the reunion or a new series. Proving the Friends TV reunion could be “The One Where” the whole world watches!

Furthermore, the surprise Gavin and Stacey Christmas special which aired last year, reignited our love affair with the sitcom. To find out “what’s occurring” in regard to another reunion of possible new series. A total of 8,510 people on average Google the show.

While OnBuy’s research reveals that there is less buzz about a TV reunuin for The OC (180 monthly searches), The X-Files (150 monthly searches), The West Wing (150 monthly searches), 30 Rock (130 monthly searches) and Cheers (50 monthly searches).

Methodology

OnBuy analysed Google search volumes using the keyword analytics section of online visibility and marketing tool SEM Rush. For each of the 30 TV shows analysed, a variety of keywords were taken into consideration – such as the show title followed by “reunion”, “new series” and “new season” – to maximise results!

Kill Ben Lyk – New RED BAND TRAILER

 

British Dark Comedy is always a blast at the cinema and the new film Kill Ben Lyk, looks to continue that trend! It’s the debut film written and directed by Erwan Marinopoulos and stars Eugene Simon (“Game of Thrones”) and Simone Ashley (“Sex education”)
The film has had success on the international film festival circuit, Kill Ben Lyk will be out in UK Cinemas nationwide from 22nd November via ourscreen.

Plot

Multiple bullets, multiple targets, one name. Pop quiz: someone is running around London killing your namesake. What do you do? Do you run? Do you stay and fight? If you’re quasi-famous YouTuber Ben Lyk (Eugene Simon), you vlog about it and hope for the best. That is, until Scotland Yard try and sort it out, rounding him up along with every other Ben Lyk in town, keeping them holed up in a safe house that isn’t so safe. And once the Ben Lyk’s begin dropping dead one by one, it’s a mad dash to figure out why this is even happening in the first place.

Which TV shows have been spoiled the most?!

We all hate our TV shows being spoiled, hence why a lot of us “mute” words on Twitter and eagerly turn off the radio or your favourite podcasts if they start discussing last nights show. Which you’re yet to watch in peace. But which shows get spoiled the most?

A new study have revealed which shows are the most spoilery. While it may not come as a surprise to most, Game of Thrones was the worst offender for spoilers.

According to musicMagpie’s research, there were 2,351,178 spoiled laden tweets. This is over the course of the shows entirety too. They discovered that The Long Night (S8, E3) which saw armies of the loving and the dead finally meet. Was the most spoiled episode of Game Of Thrones. (Can that class as a spoiler? Sorry if you haven’t seen it yet!)

Coming up in second place was The Walking Dead. With 734,794 spoiler tweets, Breaking Bad came in third with 316,833 spoiler filled tweets.

(SPOILERS) Game of Thrones – Tweet Giant! (UPDATE)

In the most recent episode, the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones, it was the third most discussed episode on Twitter so far! Gaining 3,800,847 tweets. However, it took the top spot as becoming the joint most saddest episode thus far. As 60% of tweets were sad, equaling last weeks episode.

Yet, a lot of fans weren’t happy with the outcome of the episode. Which saw Daenerys Targaryen snap after being pushed to the limit. There were 839,627 tweets which discussed the Mother of Dragons. Which saw 66% of sad tweets.

Game of Thrones is a massively popular tv show and it get’s Twitter talking!

According to musicMagpie most recent episode, “The Long Night” the third episode of the final season of Game of Thrones was the most talked about episode of all time!

The previous record of tweets, which was held by the season 8 premier was set at  3,857,823. However, during the epic Battle of Winterfell, the fans of the show sent a mind blowing 4,825,691 tweets!

There was some complaints about the episode though and fans let the world know about it! A total of 69,229 tweets were shared that the show was too dark. Not the content was too dark. Literally the show was too dark, viewers were struggling to make out what was happening on screen!

Most Liked Characters

Tormund Giantsbane and Brienne of Tarth made fans the happiest with 57% and 49% of the tweets about these 2 characters being joyous.

Most Disliked Characters

While on the other hand, Bronn was the most hated character on Twitter with 24% of all tweets about him being angry. Theon Greyjoy, Bran Stark and Joffrey Baratheon share the number two spot, with 17% of their tweets being angry.
