We have got our hands on another heavy hitter for 2018 and that’s Just Cause 4!
The open world giant focuses this time round on massive destruction, crazy explosions and more player creativity. Other things will come into play and start to affect a players experience during their time with Just Cause 4. For example, the new outing from Avalanche Studios will include bouts of extreme weather. Like their namesake, blizzards, as well as playing tag team with storms that include lightning and tornados!

There’s some brand new DLC coming for Overcooked 2 it’s called Surf ‘n’ Turf! Overcooked 2 Surf ‘n’ Turf is now available digitally on XboxOne, PlayStation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch™ priced at £4.49/€4.99/$5.99.
So, if you are unaware of what Overcooked 2 here’s a little refresher:
Overcooked 2 is a co-op game that allows 1-4 players to help serve recipes to hungry customers in an series of unconventional kitchens. Love robots? Love fighting games? Well we have just the game for you! It’s called Override: Mech City Brawl and it is a LOT of fun! We suggest that you mainly play with friends as it’s a lot more enjoyable with a buddy than without. Don’t have a buddy in the house with you? Fear not as there is online multiplayer to get your robot beat em up fix!
Features
There are a rang of different mechs to take a hold of. Like many fighting games, each character has their own play style, special moves and finishers. The environments that you fight in are totally destroyable too, therefore you’re able to completely obliterate entire cities on your quest to become the king of the mechs! Especially since your fists are the size of skyscrapers!
There are a total of 12 characters that you can play in and a whole host of famous cities to duke it out in. Such as Tokyo and San Francisco, countries also include Egypt and Mexico, quite the mix of environments!
As well as multiplayer users are also able to fight in co-op mode. Sounds weird doesn’t it? A co-op mode on a fighting game. Tag Team mode? Nope. Something very very different and very very cool, if we say so ourselves! In co-op mode 2-4 players take control of one part of a mech! Speaking of mechs, they are fully customizable to whatever you desire.
Story mode takes you along a journey to defeat the alien invasion and save the world, so you got to use the same drill-powered horns or old fashioned mouth lasers that you do to defeat your foes in multiplayer to help save the world in story mode.
Following the launch of Override: Mech City Brawl, Stardust a downloadable DLC character, the games first post-launch DLC will bring this incredible mech to gamers. The mech has a penchant for posing extravagantly and kicking up hooves of steel, unleashing an all manner of aerial launches and sassy shooting stars.
Owners of the Super Mega Charged edition of Override: Mech City Brawl will get this character for free! As well as Stardust, any future mechs released, owners of the Super Mega Charged edition will also recieve them for free. If you purchased the normal edition it will cost you £3.29, Stardust will come to consoles on December 14th.
Overall this game is tons of fun and a very unique spin on the fighting genre. We especially liked the co-op mode and found it challenging yet tons of fun. If you’re looking for a breath of fresh air in the beat ’em up genre, look no further than Override: Mech City Brawl!

First of all, this is an amazing little device. A device that took us by surprise. TAP Wearable Keyboard looks like something our of Minority Report and yet, is so useful! The TAP Wearable Keyboard from our tests had a very steep learning curve. However, we can see the potential for this device. It feels very natural to use and nothing alien at all. With a lot of patience and practice we can see the wearable keyboard taking off and in use across the world.

However, it’s not just a keyboard it also has a mouse attached to it! Well, it’s your thumb. Which you use to scroll and navigate around your computer by rolling or gliding your thumb across the table, simply tap to click. Again, it will take some getting used to. Some patience and some practice. Yet, it did feel very very natural to us. We can see plenty of uses for the TAP Wearable Keyboard too, for example, the disabled. If they only have use of the hands the TAP Wearable Keyboard may be a lot easier and less painful for them to use than a keyboard and mouse. Or even those who are visually impaired and struggle with seeing keys on a keyboard and cannot touch type! The Sphero BOLT is the bigger brother of the Sphero Mini and it does back a punch! Producer Bill had a lot of fun trying to programme the Bolt to go around the table at the Apple Holiday Showcase Event!
It’s designed for children trying to encourage them how to code. However, we feel as though this can be for any age who are into learning how to code! The Bolt uses advanced sensors to track speed, acceleration, direction and drive Bolt without having to aim the robot thanks to the compass! You can use the Sphero Edu app from a desktop or mobile device to create custom activities or even download some of the aweseome community created programmes to play with. This was a lot of fun whilst at the Apple Holiday Showcase event! It’s a simple ball game but has a lot of intelligent tech inside of it!

The Homepod is very impressive as a singular device. However in a stereo pair the smart speaker is very very very VERY impressive. We were blown away how clear the audio was coming out of this little device. You can hear every little musical intrument and the bass is powerful but not overpowering. Even at a low volume, we could still hear the bass and the vocals. Nothing was lost. Nothing was taken away. At either end of the spectrum of volume.
AirPlay 2 alongside bring with it stereo play with 2x Homepods, it also brings multi room playing so if one Homepod is in the kitchen and one homepod is in the living room, you can simply ask Siri to play “Pop Music” in the Kitchen, whilst staying in the living room. Living Room’s music will be untouched. Seriously impressive.
Sound
All the speakers, tweakers and all music based tech from within Homepod is all Apple built and with this brings tremendous sounding music. The way that the speakers are formed and the brains from within the device, the A8 chip. Allow the speaker to adjust itself to wherever it is and from any room – even if it’s moved. No longer is sound directly forced in front of you. With the HomePod, the audio is all around you. You get the best experience, from anywhere in the room.
Consequently we are very impressed by this and cannot wait to continue learning more about this wonderful device. As audiophiles we are blown away by the craftsmanship and quality of this device.
