Facebook are trying to find out more about you in a way that looks less obtrusive. It’s called Facebook Lists and they’re totally customizable to make them whatever you wish them to be. For example you can have, ‘My 2018 Goals’ or ‘Things to do before I’m 30’ or even ‘Who inspires me the most’
Like with customizable status updates, you can change the background colour, or even add emojis to it to spruce it up a little.
To make things interesting you can copy someone else’s and make it better (or worse) or even straight up copy and see who achieves the most.
Why Facebook Lists?
The whole idea behind this relates to Facebook pushing down company pages content and promoting users content. They want their users to make more original content and thus making people engage more and more with one another. Therefore engaging less with company ‘engagement’ bait style posts.
This alongside Facebook’s recent update at the end of last year (gradually rolling out to more and more users) is the “Did you know” status or “Fun fact about me” style updates. Whereby users would write a question for example “My favourtie food is” and then listing it. Is Facebook’s push to make each other more friendly and interact more.
This is getting a huge push with Facebook allegedly promoting posts from friends and family as well as prioritising local news in the news feed. Even pushing to including a dedicated local news and events section on their site. (Though this is limited to 6 cities in the US)
Facebook Lists is currently only available to Android users. If you’re on iOS you can see lists but you cannot create them just yet. (No news on when it will arrive to iOS either)

But we’d like to remind you of the what made this franchise so good. Cut The Rope is a lot of fun! This crazy and simple game is based around getting the sweet to the little monster. Use physics and cut the rope at just the right time to avoid the spikes, burst bubbles at the right moment. Be careful though cut at the wrong moment and and you’ve got one upset monster. So cut wisely otherwise it’s game over! Just don’t blame us when you play for too long and miss your stop on the train, it will happen at least once. It’s that good!

The next iOS is even more secure than we first thought!
According to security developer ElcomSoft, iOS 11 will require your passcode on the device itself when plugged into a new computer or laptop for the first time, to establish a new trusted computer, regardless if you click ‘trust this computer’
This is especially important for user privacy as constitutional laws try to catch up with technology, over in the US the Fifth Amendment does not protect fingerprints but can apply to passcodes in some instances.
The FBI even paid $900,000 to unlock the San Bernadino terrorists iPhone after Apple refused, claiming privacy violations and apparently the police have even tried to unlock a dead victims device with a 3D printed fingerprint!

Last week Apple showed off their flagship feature on the iPhone – FaceID
They did an incredible presentation on it and then went to demo it on stage – after a couple of attempts by Apple’s Craig Federighi, it bummed out and said to enter a passcode and they had to go to a backup.
Embarassing.
Well, Apple spoke to Yahoo’s David Pogue and explained all
“People were handling the device for stage demo ahead of time and didn’t realize Face ID was trying to authenticate their face. After failing a number of times, because they weren’t Craig, the iPhone did what it was designed to do, which was to require his passcode. Face ID worked as it was designed to.” (Yahoo News)
Apple later confirmed to the BBC that the quote was real and the phone worked exactly as it should.
When you think about it, it does make sense as the same happens when your thumb is wet or dirty and it doesn’t recognise it, it asks to enter the passcode.
Apple were never going to release a faulty product on release were they, come on. (Ignoring iPhone 4 reception issues)
