Geekzonia a ‘Social VR platform’ is advertising for a job that is full time and based entirely in VR – A VR Events Host! You’ll be able to work from home, with all the necessary VR hardware supplied.

You’ll apparently be living in  “a 24/7 virtual reality comic-con filled with the latest geek content from movie studios, games publishers, TV networks and geeky brands.”

Geekzonia  is due to launch this summer.

Alarm and clock

Evoke H6 includes an automatically updating clock and two alarms. With Evoke H6 you are able to wake up to your favourite radio station or tone alarm.

Snooze Handle

When the alarm sounds, a simple touch the handle will allow you to snooze.

Additional connections

Evoke H6 includes a headphone output for private listening and an auxiliary input for connecting to any device.

ChargePAK

Evoke H6 can be powered by the supplied main adapter or with the optional ChargePAK F1. This ChargePAK will give you up to 50 hours of truly portable listening.

iPhone doesn’t love Android!

So it turns out people who are single who have iPhones don’t want to date people who have Androids!?

For people in America, those who have iPhones are extremely picky when it comes to finding a date. According to a survey done by Match.com, of over 5,ooo single people in America aged 18 and over those who own iPhones are 21 times more likely to judge someone negatively for owning an Android. While Android users are a tad more friendly with them only 15 times more likely to judge their date negatively if they own a iPhone. While those who have older models of either an Android or iPhone are 56% less likely to even get a date!

The only match!

A man called Shed Simove, (45, entrepreneur from London) has come up with the brilliant idea for those who struggle on dating apps. Well for him atleast. He has made an app called Shinder – where he is the one and only match available.

If they swipe left they are given an option to sign up for Shed’s mailing list and they are told that they have ‘dodged a bullet’

While right swiping tells users that ‘You clearly have exquisite taste. You’ll be notified if you’re a match.’

 

While users who are male and swipe right are told ‘Sorry, Shed is currently a full blown heterosexual, but keep in touch.’
