Zoom COVID benefits in more ways than one!

Zoom. The meeting app that has skyrocketed in popularity. Our friends over at Chartr have taken a look at it in a closer and have found a few things. They’ve have had a huge few months, their user base has increased twenty-fold and their share price has more than doubled. It’s gone on to become the go to communication tool for many of us in lockdown. However, another company called Zoom Technologies, a tiny company who have no affiliation to the video conferencing company.

Some people are investing. Some think that they’re investing in Zoom Communications (the real one) when they’re actually buying Zoom Technologies stock (the other one). Those mistakes have pushed the wrong Zoom companies price up to 1800%. Which is a tidy return for those who made the mistake early doors and benefited from others doing the same later on down the line. By the way here is where you can get buy Zoom shares.

Suspended Trading

To try and minimise the confusion and protect investors. The SEC (US Security and Exchange Commission) had to suspend trading in Zoom Technologies for a short period.

This has actually happened before. Zoom Communications went public in April 2019. Investors poured money into Zoom Technologies. Seeing their share price go from under a cent to almost $6 in a month. Other instances of these mistakes happening are, Twitter and Snapchat. When Twitter (TWTR) went public in 2013, investors bought Tweeter Home Entertainment (TWTRQ) stock. In one day increased their stock by 1,500%! In 2017 Snapchat (SNAP) went public, the stock price of Snap Iterative increased 164%

Using Fesshole to CONFESS!

So the main way to confess your sins is usually at the Church to your pastor or one drunken night and you have a heart to heart with your best mates. However, what if there was a way to confess to the worst things that you have done in your life. Well thanks to the internet there is a way to do it!

Diving into the Fesshole…..

Fesshole is a Twitter account which will allow all you sinful people to confess to your darkest secrets. Simply complete a Google Form and voila, you have confessed. A bot will then post the confession online for the public to read and understand. Or ridicule, gasp in horror or laugh at of course. The account was set up by Rob Manuel, the man behind Clickbait bot and Swear Clock.  Fesshole all reminds us how dark and twisted every single one of us is.

Most importantly it provides us the readers, a fragile self esteem boost. As not all of us have stuck a carrot up our bum, poo’d in the shower or have their best friend want to do the dirty to their wife.

We’re not sure if all of them are true, it’s the internet after all. Yet, this is human life and life is generally stranger than fiction……

We think we’ll stick to the drunken nights out or the good ol’ pastor in the church. As at least this way it’s just one person (depending on how far your trust goes) and not the whole internet.

Chest Faces – Funny but Weird

Thanks to our friends over at The Poke, we’ve found an interesting Twitter account. It’s called “Chest Faces” @chestfaces  and they photoshop pictures of celebrities chests and replaces it with their face.

See below what the results are like!

What do you think of Chest Faces? Let us know via our socials! @howtokillanhour across ALL socials! Give us a follow!

Some of them on the account are hilarious, some of them are scary and there’s an odd couple which are quite disrespectful. But on the whole, it’s quite a harmless account. Definitely had us laughing for a good 10 minutes! How can something so simple be so funny, yet no one had thought of it yet?!

Who would you replace their chest with their face if you could? Would you replace your own chest with your face? How about faces on chests?!

Twitter Conversations Subscription

Twitter Conversations Subscription

Since Twitter rolled out a prototype app called Twttr, and other features which have been spotted in Twitter’s code. Such as a ‘Hide Tweet” button. Twitter also confirmed today that a feature will allow people to subscribe to an individual conversation. Without having to “like” or RT the tweet.

It was spotted by Jane Manchun Wong,a reverse engineer. She often peeks inside popular apps to discover new features that are on the way.

Jane Manchun Wong@wongmjane
Wong spoke to TechCrunch and found the new feature within the Android version of the Twitter app. It’s jus a prototype for now though. The new button is said to be placed in the top right hand corner of a Tweet.

When TechCrunch reached out to Twitter, they didn’t provide any details of a launch yet. The feature is still under development and that the new feature is designed to make Twitter more conversational.  Allegedly this is one of Twitter’s top goals at the moment. Alongside making abuse less prominent on the site.

The new feature will allow users to follow a conversation thread, without liking the tweet or joining in the conversation. Users can also opt to receive notifications for a conversation too.
